Safe for Children

In partnership with our manufacturing partner, Flatty Bear’s design is rigorously tested to ensure safety for even the youngest and most sensitive children. All details are embroidered; we use no plastic buttons or parts that could come unfixed and present a choking hazard.

Our bears are:

  • Certified Organic

    by the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS)

  • Water-soluble ECO Dyes

    Dyed using water-soluble eco dyes

  • Chemical Free

    Free of harmful chemicals, pesticides, heavy metals, or carcinogens

  • Naturally Flame-Resistant

    Naturally flame-resistant without the use of chemical flame retardants

In addition to safety, it is deeply important to us to ensure that Flatty Bear is constructed making a positive impact. Our organic cotton is grown by small co-op farmers, and our bears are cut, sewn, embroidered, and stuffed by hand in fair trade facilities that provide employment in underserved communities.
